Dr Green provides comprehensive care across breast cancer, benign breast disease, oncoplastic breast surgery, and thyroid and parathyroid conditions. He has particular expertise in modern breast cancer surgery, including breast-conserving techniques, oncoplastic reconstruction, sentinel lymph node biopsy and targeted axillary surgery, enabling excellent cancer outcomes while preserving appearance and long-term quality of life.
In endocrine surgery, Dr Green specialises in the management of thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, hyperparathyroidism and parathyroid disease, using evidence-based, minimally invasive techniques wherever possible.
As co-director of Brisbane Breast & Surgical Care, Dr Green works closely with Dr Beth Campbell, specialist breast surgeon, and the multidisciplinary team to deliver an integrated model of care that allows many patients to undergo imaging, receive results and see a specialist surgeon on the same day — significantly reducing delays, anxiety and unnecessary appointments.

In collaboration with Brisbane Radiology, our on-site Breast Imaging Department provides access to the most advanced and precise breast imaging available in Australia. This includes digital mammography, ultrasound, MRI and Australia’s first Cone Beam Breast CT (CBBCT) — a revolutionary technology that allows three-dimensional breast imaging without traditional breast compression, improving comfort while enhancing diagnostic accuracy.
Our model of care allows many patients to undergo imaging, receive results and see a specialist breast surgeon on the same day, dramatically reducing anxiety, delays and unnecessary appointments.
Dr Ben Green is a specialist Breast and Endocrine Surgeon consulting and operating from Brisbane Breast & Surgical Care, with extensive experience in breast cancer surgery, oncoplastic breast surgery, thyroid and parathyroid surgery. He co-directs the service alongside Dr Beth Campbell, a specialist breast surgeon with advanced expertise in complex oncoplastic and reconstructive breast surgery. Together, they lead a modern, highly specialised surgical service focused on both cancer control and long-term quality-of-life outcomes.
Supporting the surgical team is our dedicated Breast Care Nurse, Cath Gillam, who provides expert guidance, education and compassionate support throughout every patient’s journey.
